Since getting the Palm Centro I have had many dropped calls inside buildings and vehicles. I also switched from Cellular One to AT&T at the time of purchase so I'm not sure which is to blame. Marion Center Rd. has always had bad service from Charlevoix to Ellsworth but my Motorola with Cellular One worked better. I lose calls with three bars showing!

Reception is not existent. With so many people from SE Michigan spending lots of time in Charlevoix, it's pathetic this area is marketed as an area with coverage. Make Charlevoix and Petosky significant hot spots and people would line up to change to a Verizon phone. The ONLY thing keeping me from dropping Verizon is the Verizon-Onstar link for car phones. They need to get it together and put service where people want it. Sorry for the venting; I doubt things will change in the next 10 years.

Bad coverage in Charlevoix area, many dropped calls. With thousands of tourists in this area I would expect better service. Drops calls in Glens parking lot and Kmart. Most of the locals get good service with Cellular One.

Lots of dropped calls and poor coverage. The only way to make a call is to find a "hot spot" and pull of the road.

Tmobile reception in this area stinks. I know that they have a roaming agreement with NPI so who's to blame?? I can move 6 feet and drop a call. If you are in Charlevoix and travelling, do not choose Tmobile.

Been with Dobson Cellular One for a few months now. They have the best coverage I have every had from a cellular provider in the Charlevoix area. When Dobson merged with NPI wireless the coverage got even better.

Great coverage in Charlevoix and rest of Northern Michigan. Works well in large buildings. Just droped Alltel because of bad coverage in Charlevoix, Petoskey and Boyne City.

General area of Charlevoix with Alltel service is horrible. Drops calls regularly everywhere. Large buildings are problems. Just about every sort of obstruction interrupts signal. I have been a customer for 12 years and will drop them at contract end.
