I go camping all over Michigan and surrounding states. AT&T has always worked. Sometimes I have to wait for the search to find signal, but that goes with all cell phones providers.

Since AT&T took over Cingular the reception has degraded. I am thinking of switching because it is so aggravating.

Very poor reception in the home, many dropped calls. Unexceptable performance, we will be moving to a new carrier.

Coverage flat out stinks. Cannot use at all up Foster or Edgar roads.

I was told by T-Mobile that this area (Clarkston, was GREAT) - THEY LIED, most of the time, I have NO signal and the phone find "Cingular" service, to which I cannot connect to. Verizon was ROCK solid and steady. I think I'm going back to Verizon. I originally left for rate plan by T-Mobile, the 1500 minutes and such, but what good is it when you don't get reliable service.

Drop calls more than their ever should be. I call and complain about the problem. I sit on hold for 15+mins. and never get the problem resovled. I have only had full bars one time in the past two years. I am moving to another carrier in 11 days.

Great service in our area - the only carrier with consistently good performance from our home. A few "hiccups" in other areas near here, but otherwise excellent coverage.

All our Nextel phones (including the two new contracts we'd just added) stopped getting any reception last spring (it was poor prior to that). Weeks on the phone with customer service and the answer we got was - believe it or not "Leaves on the trees seem to be interfering with receptoin". Incredulous I informed them that in the area of the country there were leaves on the trees about 8 months of the year. I added that I only wanted to pay my bill 8 months of the year. I can't get out of the new contracts, I did get out of one and will be able to get out of the final soon. What a nightmare.

great coverage evrywwhere I go on Sprint network

Rarely get any reception at my home. This is true for all carriers other than Nextel. And we are only 2 miles from I-75. A new tower was just placed at I-75 and M-15 but must not have been Cingular, or any other service that I am aware of.

in Alberquerque, NM just last week and had excellent coverage with Sprint... in point of fact, have been to Cal, Oregon, washington dc and Washington state, in Hilton Head, Charlotte and W.Va... have had great coverage everywhere I have been (No, I do not work form Sprint)... was in Traverse

Reception is and has always been terrible in the home. Lucky to get one bar and now if I get voice mail I don't get notification for several hours. This happens at numerous locations. Have had Sprint for 5 years but will switch. Looking at Cingular for it's global capability and if not then Verizon is next. Have heard nothing but good things about them.

Excellent service, excellent phone used all over the usa with little to no reception problems, excellent CS.

Sprint PCS has remarkable coverage. This phone is a workhorse and have NEVER had one dropped call. CDMA technology seems to be superior to GSM network following my reading of many posts on many different sites concerning GSM experiences. I have traveled all over US and rarely could not get a signal.
