poor reception in buildings but for the most part coverage is exceptional

I'm with Sprint and right now the coverage in SW Michigan sucks. We had a storm come through during summer and it took out some towers. Sprint is in the process of upgrading their towers for 4g networking, so they decided that rather than repairing the towers, they would upgrade them. They're still not done yet, and calls ofter fail, and text sometimes need to be sent 5, 10, even 20 times before they go through. I was told that the upgrades should be done in may. I hope so, because sprints service has always been great up until the storm.

I get between 1 and 3 bars of reception regularly. I can make and receive calls on 1 bar as of Nov 2009

I can occasionally send text messages, but forget about receiving them or any calls in or out. I have to turn my phone off while I'm there because it runs down the battery trying to find a signal the whole time. According to Verizon, we are on their coverage map, but they are full of crap. My husband has an LG Chocolate with Verizon, and he doesn't get any service either, so it's not just my phone.

We've tried 3 different companies and have poor reception. Now looking to contact any company to have a tower put up. How do you contact the person at the company responsible for locating new towers?

There is a poor to no reception in this area. When we do get a signal, the call is typically dropped inside of one minute, even when not moving. When questioned to Verizon, they blamed the coverage on the lack of cell towers. Aren't the service providers responsible for inatslling new / additional twoers?

NO signal at all. The phone goes dead searching for a signal. I complained to Verizon about it and they told me we should be able to use the phone at least outside because they pay for tower usage there. I told them they aren't getting their money's worth and niether am I. I am currently looking for another carrier and the only one I've found is Centennial.
