RARELY have quality reception! Often on ROAM even though we have a no roaming plan picks up Canadian tours and we get the screws! Text messages received while in Canadian Roam are now costing us big bucks. POOR customer service, we were told we had GOOD service prior to moving here and now are stuck. Family Plan and no way to switch. Told to upgrade our phones (locking us into a new contract) but if it is still problematic we will be screwed for 2 more years. SAD when we convinced all our family to get Verizon. Afraid to make calls half the time and current dropped calls are bad. The family phones are old but concerned that upgrading will not help enough to warrant the contract.

NO reception in house and very poor in yard and in car. Very good around city of Detroit.

I have had Cingular for a long time. I have kept them because of good rates in the past. Whenever I am in Marine City at the Riviera Restaurant, I cannot make any calls. I have been told that it is because I am next to the St. Clair River, but several other people have recieved calls and been able to make calls all the time. I am going to switch to a different carrier. I am not sure who, but I am thinking about Sprint or Verizon.
