Never really had any issues while in town although while commuting to nearby Traverse City recpetion would be lost for most of the 20 minute ride.

I had better service with Cell One. Alltel said that the Razr phone would work better that my old one, but in this location, not true.

alltel is the worst(both signal and service)... ... ... ..i take 3 different 25-30 mile commuts to work and I get a usable signal over about 3 miles each route when i'm nearly to work anyway... ... ..at home with a 40 ft. tower antenna and 3 watt analogue phone it works 70 -80 % of the time if i'm lucky! Both Fletcher rd. and M-72 are heavily travelled yet very little signal available on 72 and none on Fletcher!
