For three years, I've asked about service to this area. I was told it depends on population density, demands and federal laws. It now boils down to federal regulation is the evil one saying that carriers can't overlap services without being fined. I say find a place to put up a tower that doesn't overlap services and give us cell phone service. The money is there. CellularOne ripped me off at tune of $60 a month. As soon as my contract expires, I'll go back to Thumb Cellular or try Nextel. Thumber Cellular coverage in this area is excellent since the Mayville tower has been put up. Thumb Cellular had poor service to this area before the Mayville tower. I left them because their roaming charges were very high. Maybe that has changed, if not, then I'll try Nextel which I know does work in this area atleast sometimes. AT&T has bought out CellularOne, checking the map placement of towers in this area, AT&T will not make any improvements in services to us. They got my money and don't want to spend it on me or you in this area.

We were told we were that our house was on the fringe of reception; however, I have no reception in any direction for at least 15 miles. That is more than fringe. We were on the fringe with Nextel and that means walking a few yards outside the door of my house. I am angry at the waste of money for this useless phone. What can be done about it?
