Signal is terrible between Covell Ave NW all the way to Maynard Ave on M-45. Best is 1 bar and very choppy calls. Time of day affects signal too. Is completely dead north of Oakleigh toward Seventh St.

Very good Sprint / Nextel hybrid coverage all around area.

Stationary phone, signal flux. from 5 to 0 bars, many, many droped calls. Application failures due to poor connections. Nextel and Verizon share a tower a mear 600 yards away.

Phone drops out between Oakleigh and Kinney NW, can sometimes pick up signal in Standale just east of Kinney and then drops again.

We have horrible reception at home. We can hear an occasional phrase or two. People can hear us just fine during the same call. Therefore, we tell them to call our land-line. T-Mobile has been less than efficient in trying to resolve the problem.

I have found Verizon to be the best service in the G.R. area after trying Sprint and Alltel first. It has worked where I needed it to which I cannot say about the other carriers.

I've really had many problems with Nextel over the few years I've been with them. Mostly dropped calls, problems where service just stops. I sometimes have full bars but my phone will say no service. It's not been a great time with them. I'm looking to switch and trying to figure out who get's the least dropped calls in this area and around here. I travel a lot for work so I need durability with my phone and strong signals wherever I go. Help! haha.

Around Grand Rapids, Lansing, Jackson, I have no problems. Things get shaky near Saugatuck and South Haven. From my home, that's another story: two bars at best and calls break up. Maybe there's a signal, maybe not. Calls from home are nearly impossible. Incidentally, I took the phone to Kauai and had terrific coverage and no problems at all.

Dropped calls all of the time. Very frustrating. I get good reception in other parts of town. My low signal seems to occur near downtown or near my home. =(

I get really good service here except for in my basement.
