I have had problems for over a year and with different phones. Very slow and inconsistent connections. Unlimited data is useless with LIMITED connection speed.

Ok so I'm on Boost just switched from virgin on the optimus v. Both Boost and Virgin mobile run on the Sprint network. Service here seems pretty poor sometimes I have 1 bar other 3 but never more. I know it's not the phone because my roommate is on Sprint contract and reception is the same. I just think Sprint needs to either update or put up some more towers. They make up the majority of the mobile market around this area so it would be wise if they would optimize their towers to improve there customers service. That being said I haven't had any dropped calls but the 3G is unacceptable getting 56kb 200kb on a good day. 3G is suppose to be hover around 1mb-1.5mb not the abysmal 200kb I'm receiving.

I switched from Nextel to Sprint and purchased a Samsung Restore early January 2011. I now have Dropped Calls, Poor reception, Calls go into voice mail before the phone rings. Sprint has promised service improvements the end of February 2011. Then they promised improvements the end of March 2011. As of April 3, 2011 I still have only one or two bars. Anyone interested in starting a Class Action Lawsuit in the Grand Rapids, MI area ?

We have internet with Sprint and it is terrible! THe phone reception is also weak in our area. When we contact Sprint they tell youu the towers are under repair in our area. Still not better! Sprint needs to take care of their customers!

On the southeast side of Grand Rapids, I have always had problems with my reception. I frequently have dropped calls or can't hear someone very well, especially in my house. I usually have to send a text message at least 2x in order for it to go through.

3G is weak but acceptable indoors, fine outdoors. Very rarely do I have dropped calls. Voice is clear as well, no crackles. 4G service, on the other hand, is abyssmal in this area and practically a scam. I have to cross the street and stand in the park for 4G, and then it is weak.

I had Nextel for 7 years, and had good reception, recently I switched to Sprint because I wanted more phone features. I have had very good serivce with Sprint, I never drop calls, and seem to always have signal for calling all over the State. Internet is good, connection is either fast or not available, I find that I will occasionally have a spot where I will not get internet, but usually if I just refresh I will pick up signal again. Internet mostly goes out in Rural areas, guess you can't help that. G3 service is fast and steady, and the built in navigation is accurate, and consistant. Overall a wonderful service, I just wish there were more apps for my smart phone.

Dropped calls all of the time. Very frustrating. I get good reception in other parts of town. My low signal seems to occur near downtown or near my home. =(

Sprint is really wierd in Grand Rapids. In some Places, such as downtown, it works even in the basement of the college with full reception. However, as soon as you leave downtown proper, reception drops to crap.

After having Nextel for about 5 years I mad the switch to sprint. So far I have found the coverage to be quite good. I havent had the dropped calls that I would frequently have with nextel. So far so good :)

I just relocated from Ann Arbor to Grand Rapids, and couldn't be happier with my cellular service. It worked great in Ann Arbor and works great here in Grand Rapids. I've always heard how awful Sprint's customer service has been, but I've never had any problems. The only problem I have with Sprint is that if you venture outside of populated areas, you can forget about being able to use your phone.

Can't keep a call on line. Phone connects just long enough to show you missed a call. Have never received a call at home. My brother's Verison works, so does nextel.
