Don't even atempt to get a bar out here. I really climbed the tallest tree I could way over my house and NOTHING! First cell company that can send signal or have a tower in my area. I'll be one of the first in the area to switch.

sometimes can make a call outside, bought a $500 Wilson system, now have 3 bars in the house and still can't make a call. Coverage Sucks

We had excellent reception with a booster we bought. The bad part was after 1 year into our contract they claimed we roamed too much as was cancelling us. What a joke! We called them and talked to a tech support and asked what towers we had been on the last week. And they told we had been always on Alltel towers. So this is just a gimmick to allow them to cancel us. Maybe it was because we signed up in a time frame that gave us it at a cheaper rate since it was a promo going at that time. Now it is higher. But anyways we ended up going with a local company for internet. West Michigan Broadband and it was much faster than Alltel and even cheaper since we were paying $70 a month with Alltel now we are paying $39 for speed 3 times as fast.

No 3 G in this area. We're disappointed because we really wanted an iPad with 3G coverage. The map says that Grant should receive good wireless coverage from AT&T

Reception is awful when I can actually pick up a signal and once I do it usually drops it quickly or goes in and out. I thought that Verizon was improving on their towers in that area. It is just as bad as it has been for the last 5 years that we have been here. I am ready to switch to Nextel - at least they get good reception in this area.

Nothing. Roaming, maybe. No signal from the actual Sprint network.

Live about 5 mi east and just a little south of Grant. Outdoor coverage is great, usually 3 bars or better.
