Coverage in this area was horrible, and their map shows a tower nearby. If you plan on travelling in the NE part of the state and you want to use Alltel, you are much better off taking M-33 or US-23, as the signal in these areas were much better.

Shellenbarger and Towerline Rd.In Hale, MI, Hale, MI 48739 |

I have been an Alltel costomer since 2001. I now have a Verizon Wireless phone due to the buyout. I bought a house in Hale, MI at the intersection of Towerline Rd. and Shellenbarger Rd. I have NO service at all. Come on! I am not that far from town. Other cell phone companies such as Nextel work perfectly in my area with FULL service. Must mean there is a tower somewhere close. Why isn't Verizon getting in on the action? I NEED ANSWERS!

Bought new phones in Jan. 2009 hoping to improve our chances of the phones working. They still do not get any coverage. Come on Verizon lets get with it! I am up there hunting on my property, I need to be able to call home. I don't have power on the property, and have to use generators. I had Onstar, but it was too expensive. Half the time it didn't work. Is there anything else I can do?
