Most of time I have 4 to 5 bars, but am frequently having calls dropped... .I mean, like every other call. Didn't have this problem with ATT for a year, until June of this year. Now, continual dropped calls. ATT checked it out and said there's nothing wrong... ... ..I beg to differ! Am looking for carrier with better reception.

Best cell phone company in the area! Have only one dead spot that I have found near lake michigan. As far as hamilton mi area have five to four bars all over hamilton / allegan area's. I know many people who have switched to ATT in the last few months and could not be happier works great in the UP even! Great customer care and great plans for families. This clearly is the best carrier with the best phone selections and coverage that no one can beat Verizon my work phone gets no bars here in hamilton. God bless the telcom giant.

used to have Nextel which worked good in town but not in allegan or out in the woods havwe since switched to Cingular and have never had such good overall coverage on any phone! its great for hamilton mi area!

Tried Sprint, Verizon and Nextel. None work very well. Went with the Nextel boost phone so I wouldn't get stuck with a contract for a service that doesn't work again. Usually need to stand at the top of the basement stairs to get reception.

They show we have coverage here on the coverage map, but we don't. I can get data to come through and so e-mail is possible, but I have to forward my cell to my home phone as I loose all phone about half a mile down the road from my house. They claim they are going to put up some more equipment in the spring, but will believe it when I see the Bars.
