Verizon 2 Out of 5	Usually decent reception, 3 out of 4 bars. But far too often reception drops to 1 or 2 bars and breaks up constantly. 3G covereage also randomly switches to 1x. For there being a university here, I expect better coverage.

Alltel 5 Out of 5 Phone Model: V3M	Alltel gets perfect reception on campus and throughout Houghton. I haven't spent much time on the outskirts so I can't say anything about them. I have been told that AT&T gets good coverage here but anything else is nonexistent.
