Sprint 2 Out of 5 Phone Model: Sanyo Katan	In house very poor reception - usually 1-2 bars; frequently lose connection mid-call. Outside house, other metro D areas usually pretty good. (Had same problem with prior AT&T phone though pre-GSM Cingular never had in house reception problems; don't think carriers have put enough GSM towers to cover area / replace pre-GSM.)

Verizon 3 Out of 5 Phone Model: Motorola V260	Much improved recently. Fewer dropped calls with in house, which used to be very common. Always was good outside the house. Have had good experience with Verizon reception in general in other parts of the country as well. 4-5 Bars outside the house typical, including downtown Detroit.
