Phone works pretty good but the data sucks. Whole reason I got the Motorola Q and now I cant even check my emails unless I walk outside.

When we first had a cell phone about 10 years ago, we had real good reception. We could even go into Meijer and have good reception. Now we have numerous dropped calls, calls that go direct to voicemail without knowing we even had a call. I was pulling into someones driveway when my phone went off saying I had a voicemail from that person. This is an area where we should have had reception. It is happening more and more. They have updated everything on our phone so now what is their reason. They can't explain it but say this phone should have very good reception. Not impressed with Verizon anymore. Need to add another phone for a child and don't know what to do. Looking into other companies.

I have had AT&T coverage in Ionia for about 10 months now and have had several issue with signal loss at home and also all over town. I contacted them several times before on the matter and I always end up getting off the phone with customer support in the same place as where I started. They recently sent me a microcell tower to help with the reception but I still get problems with people saying that they can't understand what I'm saying because it is garbled. The microcell also interferes with all of my wifi devices so I would just steer clear of AT&T if you live around the downtown area. In my opinion because I also have a Verizon phone for work I would go with them if you want the iPhone but if you want the best overall coverage in this area you will want to stay with Sprint.

Verizon Wireless has very poor coverage in the Ionia downtown area, west of Kidd St.

The service cuts in and out at work and at home (a block away) but at times I can get up to three bars. No ryhme or reason to the sudden spike of signal and it drops to no service from three bars, also.
