AT&T switch 3G on in Jackson today. I'm not sure how far west of the city it goes, but apparently Kalamazoo and Battle Creek also lit up this week, so it appears the I-94 corridor is getting filled out.

Excellent service! I love AT&T but may change soon if they don't get the 3g service going soon here in Jackson MI. I love my gadgets and really want to use what I pay for and that is 3g. Cannot get the edge to work very well at all here and I pay 30 dollars a month to use the service. I have been given many dates on 3g starting here in Jackson and this will be the last month I give them. Said it is being tested right now and should be up and working anyday. We will see about that

Had iPhone for 2 1 / 2 years call reception is avg. But no 3G. While other carriers already offer 4g AT&T can't even get 3G going unless you live downtown in a major us city. Verison I have heard of great 3G all over Jackson. All I have to say is thank god for version getting the iPhone. So long AT&T never again.

AMAZING! could not ask for a greater service! Full bars all the time, even in tunnels. No dropped calls, and lots of cool reliable phones to choose from!

I have had every Cell phone provider avaliable. I have found with AT&T that there really is a great cell phone service. I have full bars everywhere I go in town and outta town a lot. I love the feature of rollover minutes, I have banked up A lot of unused minutes over the past couple months. If you're tired of trying to find a celluar provider that works, then try AT&T. There plans are also amazing for family and buisness.

Coverage is ok at best. I love the iPhone, but HATE AT&T service. I have maybe 1 to 3 bars usually and 5 only in major cities. I have dropped calls regularly. I have the 1st gen iPhone so the Internet is pretty slow, but very handy. I would wait for Alltel and Verizon to finish their merger and buy a comparable iPhone killer.

5 bars everywhere. I actually have a tracfone, and they use AT&T. Service is great everywhere in Jackson. I will have more bars in here in Jackson than Verizon, Sprint or T-Moblie users will... . Its great.

ATT cell phone coverage in jackson is very bad can't make a call in several places in town and in the county can't wait to get out of this contract if anyone reads this stay away from Cingular not good service in jackson or jackson county

Very good reception through most all of Jackson, a couple of dead spots when going down M-50 toward Napoleon, but picks back up quickly. Very happy with the service

I live and work in this immediate area.I can hardly get or make a call. I wonder if it's the phone or no coverage in this area?! Can't seem to get an answer thats believable. I also have insurance on the phone but... it's $50.00 to get it replaced or just $50.00 to send it in and Motorola will send a rebuilt!Can't beat that offer... .so I keep it and gripe until the contract is up.

We always have a full bar with Cingular and Motorola v180. They let us keep our rollover minutes so we will neve pay for overages. Great carrier, great phone.
