Since I moved to Kalamazoo in 2010, I have had nothing but great reception from Sprint. My wife also has not had any problem, but at her workplace, but that is a big concrete block where everyone has service issues.

I can only get enough reception to use my phone if I go in the backyard behind the shed. It's not the ideal talking location for me. Reception varies throughout the Kalamazoo / Portage area, but is never good. Customer service is great, but it kind of defeats itself to have good customer service if you can't use the phone. Basically, Sprint sucks.

Need to go outside about 100 yds from house to make or receive calls. Sprint said it will take till March 1st. to get the towers up and running. I love the phone, but not happy with this reception, especially in the winter

I have between 2-4 bars in my house 2 streets from Kalamazoo Central on Drake between drake and Nichols rd I get 2 bars in my basement which is OUTSTANDING and 3-6 everywhere else in my house. I travel all over the major places of issues are highway 131 in a few areas by wayland and three rivers. I get 2-5 bars in portage most of the time meijers on westnedge and target westnedge I get great service. Ive Been everywhere from kalamazoo to oshtemo to portage to texas corners alamo almost allways 3-6 bars. I never dropped a call idk why I just havent

Sprint reception is so bad that I can't even speak inside my own house, but have to go out into the yard and even then I only get 2 bars usually, sometimes three if I angle myself just so and don't move!

Horrible reception and many dropped calls all over kalamazoo. Works well if within 1 mile radius of campus.

When I'm at home, sometimes the phone rings but when I answer the called is dropped, other times the calls go straight to voicemail. The only way I can check my voicemail at home is to use the land line. I sometimes get text messages but I can't send any. I get pretty good service throughout the rest of the Kalamazoo / Portage area

SPrint has the most awful reception throughout town. My friend who has Alltel can get perfect reception ANYWHERE, while I am left with a phone always searching for a signal. In Meijers and the mall, I can't even get 1 bar. Downtown is the only place I don't have to worry about being able to receive or make a call. Sprint sucks...

Constant dropped calls. A maximium of 2 bars. an average of one bar. digital roaming kicks in 50% of the time. It is very frustrating to get dropped at my own house.

Sprint has spectacular coverage in the Kalamazoo area and I'd recommend it to anyone who is planning on moving to southwest Michigan.

Incredibly poor reception... With my phone inside I have to leave the antennae up all the time by the window, even then half of my calls go straight to voice mail... calls are also dropped... reception was about the same with my sanyo 4900... I must be in a bad coverage area between I-94 and US-131...
