I've been with T-Mobile for 2 years now (simply because of a contract). I've contacted them nermous times because of my signal, and have been VERY unseccessful in getting ANY help. They keep telling me that they are "trying" to get towers in my area. Well I know for one person that they aren't going to add another tower. The closest one is like 15 miles from me, which they tell me I should have some sort of signal. Well I don't. I am currently looking for a new provider, and am comparing rates and so on.

SPrint has the most awful reception throughout town. My friend who has Alltel can get perfect reception ANYWHERE, while I am left with a phone always searching for a signal. In Meijers and the mall, I can't even get 1 bar. Downtown is the only place I don't have to worry about being able to receive or make a call. Sprint sucks...

T-Moblie - Zero bars :( I have to drive 1-2 miles away from my home to get ANY reception, and if I want GOOD reception, it is more like 3 miles from home! Nextel (which I had before) I could get at least SOME reception, but dropped many calls!

We live in a residential growth area northwest of Kalamazoo. We and our neighbors have never been able to use our cell phone at home. There have been at least 15 homes built within 1 / 2 mile of us since 1991. This poor service area may be affecting over 100 households west and northwest of Kalamazoo. If we travel west from our location on W. FG Ave. the poor reception area continues. To get usable reception we have to drive southeast seven miles to the edge of town. Please advise your engineers of this problem. Thank you. NFC

Decent reception except no call forwarding in WMU or KVCC, the model I got is very crappy however, it looks nice and is sleak but the tone is piercing and annoying for the earpiece. Too much crap not enough function.

Very poor reception regardless of indoor or outdoor. It is slightly better if I stand in my front yard (unlike my Nextel which was also poor, but better in the backyard). I guess my Cingular should be the "frontyard phone" and the Nextel should be the "backyard phone". Also poor in-building coverage at WMU. The Motorola L2 is the phone I wanted, but what use is a sleek phone if it get's no reception?

I live right in the middle of three tower locations and should, in theory, get an excellent signal. In fact, I get a Below Average to Poor signal when at home. I have garbled reception inside, and need to go into the backyard to have a decent conversation. Not very nice in the winter.

Constant dropped calls. A maximium of 2 bars. an average of one bar. digital roaming kicks in 50% of the time. It is very frustrating to get dropped at my own house.

I have never had a problem with Nextel. I always have perfect reception and very clear audio.

For some reason everytime you drive down this 1 mile piece of road you get no reception... . ever!
