It is no surprise that I have an excellent connection due to AT&T. It provides the fastest 3G network which is 35 percent faster that Verizon's CDMA network. If you want the best customer satisfaction choose AT&T.

I can't use my hotspot. I have to move from room to room checking my phone for bars. I'm constantly cut off or people can't hear me when I'm talking. It's WORTHLESS in Lawton, MI

Might get reception if I sit by the window. Heard they were taking over centennial which might help. I wish these carriers would realize they could monopolize a whole rural county by putting up a few towers. While there may not be a huge population in van buren county, they could have all the customers if they would just build towers and give us reliable mobile service

I switched from Nextel (fair service) to AT&T (which had no service when I pulled into my driveway), then to Verizon (poor service). I can get 1 to 2 bars outside and by the windows in my house, but I miss and drop calls all the time inside my house. When I am in Paw Paw or Mattawan the service is fine, 3-4 bars, but I wish I had stuck with Nextel, or was able to actually find a carrier that works everywhere and is not so sporatic. When I go to work in Lawrence, MI, (Just off I-94)I have NO SERVICE at all with Verizon, AT&T, or Nextel, so what options do I have???

Rarely get any signal indoors, sometimes will connect if near a window. Works slightly better in Lawton village. Will look for another provider when contract is up.

Lawton has the WORST reception for Verizon! I asked them about it and they said it won't likely change because it costs over $1 million to build a new tower. So much for taking care of the customer...

NEXTEL--I loved Nextel for years and years. I have had it for nine years in all. It was the best and the 2 way was great also. Other companies progressed but Nextel did not. It has stayed the same. They have all passed Nextel up. I hadn't even heard of some of them in 1999. I get no coverage at my home inside or out. On the road it goes in and out. We have a cabin in the UP and we leave our phones at home because a few miles over the bridge there is no reception at all. In Bronson, Mi at Matteson Lake there is no coverage and there is an Nextel office just 10 miles away in Coldwater. That is like stealing. If they are not going to keep up with the times they should get out of the business. I have a GPS for my car and unless the weather is very bad it always comes in. So you know a phone could do the same thing. The companies just want you to spend money on phones that don't work to make as much money as they can before they switch over to satilite phones. Thank goodness we still have land lines and who ever called them land lines 10 years ago. I'm mad that the companies are soaking us up for money before they give us what we want, a cell phone that works. They are all bad!
