Verizon 4 Out of 5 Phone Model: LG VX4500	I was able to get good reception all over Mackinaw City. Only dropped call was in hotel elevator so i'm not complaining about that one. Last year when I came here there were roaming charges but Verizon got rid of those!

AT&T 5 Out of 5 Phone Model: Nokia 6620	I went vacationing up north to Mackinaw City and surrounding areas and was very surprised to see that my GSM Cingular phone always had a min of 4 bars. I was in the area about 2 years ago with a Cingular GSM phone and it hardly worked at all. They have really built a great GSM network in this area, in fact my phone worked better up there then in my home area (near Flint, MI).
