Had Verizon before, 2 bars in the whole house, including basement. Never had any signal in the High School, but thats to be expected, the stupid thing is made of lead. Anyhow, kept Verizon service as well as AT&T service for my iPhone. iPhone is great anywhere but inside buildings, so I use my Verizon phone for calls inside my house. I do get some AT&T service inside house, but in limited places, mainly near window. I believe AT&T tower is located west of I-94 which could be the culprit whereas the Verizon tower in this area is located near 18th street.
Not only is Virgin Mobile very flexible for plans, and payments, but I get reception everywhere. In the woods, in people's basement - everywhere. Aside from the High School, coverage is excellent.
