I have used Verizon, TMobile, and Nextel. I left Verizon because of continuous dropped calls and extremely poor quality no matter where I went... Including lousy customer service. I went to Nextel because that is what is used where I work in Troy, though it is not a company provided phone. The service was abhorrid to say the least. As a last resort I went to Cingular. While I did not have any high expectations, based upon conversations that I had with engineers from other carriers, I must say that both my wife and I are extremely pleased. Not only do we get a full signal in our home, but everywhere we go. With the other providers, my calls would drop 6 or 7 times between my commute to Troy. With Cingular, I have not had a single dropped call, nor have I had any garbled communications. The bottom line is that my wife and I are extremely happy with this service so far and that goes a long way toward keeping our business... .

Only get one bar if I work at it. Cannot use phone in the house. Have to walk out to the road. Also there are dead spots along Stobbart between Hickory Ridge and Kenningston Road. I drive I-96 every day to Lansing, and calls are dropped all the time when I switch towers. My husband has a different provider, and although his reception is better, it is still not good at our house.
