Excellent coverage all over the Muskegon area! I love it.

Great coverage especially if you have a decent phone. Most of the time I don't even think that I'm on a cellular phone. I've been using it for 2 1 / 2 years and have been very happy. Friends and co-workers with other providers often ask to use my phone because theirs is not working. Realizing that it's a radio, it's obvious that service is hit and miss on the other side of the dunes on the shore of Lake Michigan or in some valleys in rural areas. Most other places I've been in Michigan and around the country service has been great!

Not so great inside, but full signal outside.

When you are at the college, you can sometimes get a signal and sometimes you have none. The signal goes with the wind. The most annoying things is they just installed a cell tower here but it isn't CDMA or GSM. It is PCS and hardly anyone here uses it.

I am VERY happy with our Sprint service. I always have signal, even when friends with Nextel do not. I do not even use analog mode in town and I get great service in Muskegon, Spring Lake, Whitehall, Grand Rapids and surrounding.

Not good if we hit evanston avenue

Anywhere off the highway is pretty much a dead zone. North of the river flats my phone becomes a paper weight. Very few areas south of the river flats have service. The only area for good service is south of Apple Ave. and east of US 31. Other than that good luck!

I'm one mile from the lake and when our phones are left on, they constantly drop in and out of service. As I travel inland I pick up a full signal about 1-2 miles down the road. I'm currently looking to put a booster in the house but I'm about as tech savvy as our pet snake.

Most complaints I see on hear are either Gross Pointe (gee, if the people in GP would allow a tower to be built there, you would have service.) or up in the boonies. Everyone wants service, but no one wants a tower in their back yard. However, Nextel found a way around that in Gross Pointe. Try them out.

I just got the phone and serv 3 days ago. I wanted it for my deer camp up North, the salesmen told me it would work anywere in MI but the thumb. I had only one bar of signle all the way up US 131 and when I got up to my camp I had none. Alltel is junk just about everywere!
