I can barely make calls outside but have no service inside the house at all. Field test on my phone gives between -105 and -115 dB inside and just slightly better than that outside. Same thing with Verizon as well.

my reception is very good i have had many networks and Sprint is the best I have had. i also have there internet with few problems speed being the only one

Have no service in house and may get a bar if I walk around my front yard. Friend has Cingular and he can talk anywhere in my house. T-Mobile says they share towers with Cingular, but that doesn't seem to help!

Reception in town is terrible, at best. I live in town and regularly have no service in my house. Alltel says that there is a tower within 4 miles of my house, but how do they explain the terrible service? They claim it's my phone, yet my wife has the SAME problems with her Alltel phone. Coincidence? Not likely. I drive daily from Petersburg to Ann Arbor and regularly have problems all along the way. Sometimes, I'll be driving down US-23 and will have "full bars" on my phone (yes, I ocassionally look at my phone). Someone will try to call me. It sounds to them like my phone rings four times, then goes to voicemail, yet my phone never rings. A few minutes later, I'll get the voicemail on my phone. It looks very unprofessional to them because I don't answer my phone when it "rings". Other times, I'll try to make a call. My phone will say "Connected", but I don't hear anything (no ringing). The other end actually does ring (I just can't hear it). Sometimes the called party answers, but I can't tell because I can't hear them. This is repeated 2 or 3 times before I can successully make the call. I also have dropped calls all the time. If you need reliable cellular service, I do NOT recommend Alltel in the southeastern Michigan area.
