Just plain dropped calls and lousey receptionon. Been wasting 2+ hr a week for several weeks with ATT to get things "fixed." Replaced phone a couple of times and no luck, still junk. I am amazed that they keep offering me to upgrade and that will solve my problems, but if they cannot make work what they sold me now why would I want to be with them for a longer period they cannot get it right.

Can't get reception in my home, and I work from home! Very inconvenient! Waiting for my contract to expire so I can switch to AT&T!

Virgin uses Sprint towers. Sprint has two towers in the Kalamazoo / Comstock area, but none in the Portage area. I have had no better luck with ATT (one to zero bars) and Nextel. (one to zero bars) ATT has only one tower in the area, which is located east of Sprinkle Road; and Nextel has one tower that is located on Portage Road. I'm planning to try Verizon next, since they seem to have the most cell towers in the Kalamazoo / Portage area. One of them is located between Sears Dr. and Westnedge, which is only a few blocks from where I live. If Verizon fails the test, then I might be willing to try a "cell phone booster (~$200)," or just give up trying.

No issues with Cingular / AT&T. Good signal quality in most, if not all areas of town. Even worked well with the internet through my palm pilot (bluetooth).

We supposedly live in a "good" reception area according to the Sprint coverage map but reception is 1 bar or less and we frequently end up with digital roam. Along the I-94 ncorridor the reception is good.

Reception seems pretty good, but sometimes phone never rings when someone is calling, and messege doesn't get to phone for at least 3 hours. Sprint office says phone / battery is good, that I may be "shadowing" a tower. UNACCEPTABLE! Am looking at other services. Bad customer loyalty program... .guess they would rather have new customers to use.
