Phone itself has great apps and can do a lot of things when you're in an area where you can get service. Most of the time I can't get any service at all indoors and either no bars or only one bar outdoors. I have to drive 30 or more miles to a major city if I really want to use the phone. Sprint / Boost mobile are losing a lot of customers by not putting up towers in rural areas. This also goes for Verizon and T-Mobile who say there is coverage in this area but I only get zero or one bar with them as well. Sprint and all other carriers there is life South and East of Holland, Michigan!

My husband can rarely make a call at all on his cell phone of the same model at our home. I can place a call at home but it breaks up pretty badly and a lot of time my call will drop. We also can not get any service at all in Glenn.

Good reception if in larger cities like Holland or Grand Rapids but little or no reception in rural areas like Pullman. Also Pullman and surrounding areas have no towers so all calls are roaming. No digital coverage available which is required to use web, text message, and pix message. If all you plan to do is make calls with this phone it's ok as long as you don't mind paying roaming fees, but if you would like to access other phone options Alltel or Nextel are better phones for this area.
