Outside the house the signal is Below Average. In side the house I experience dropped calls. I've had this experience with many phones. I've used phones from LG, Motorola, Samsung and HTC, all with similar experiences.

Lots of dropped calls recently, mostly in Redford and Livonia but also sometimes in Warren. Many calls, no answers.How can they claim to fix a problem if they can't tell you what the problem is? Seems like the quality of service and politeness at their stores has dropped badly in the last 6 months. very unfriendly, curt and snooty. Like they're doing you a favor or your intruding on their day. The Livonia store at Plymouth / Middlebelt is particularly bad. Staff are clueless and curt and very few even know how to work their own computer screens. Pitiful. I will be leaving as soon as possible. Don L., Redford

Inside, I get very little reception indoors, and at work in Livonia, forget it. AT&T better reception in places, where my Sprint phone fails.

Could barely make / receive calls in my home. Have a Verizon from work that works perfectly in the same location. Cingular gave me the power on / off speech, changed the SIM card and have now replaced the phone under warranty. Service is somewhat better at the moment. Wonder if it could be the phone itself. Is LG or Nokia better than Motorola? Don't want to renew with Cingular but they have better plans overall than the others in my opinion (rollover minutes, early nights and weekends, etc), but beware... not always the best reception or customer service.

Poor reception in home. Dropped calls a common occurrence. Phone often will not ring... then my phone will alert me that I have a voicemail. Have missed many calls from that. I get voice delay and poor audio quality more than what seems reasonable. Can't recommend Cingular for Redford, and have heard complaints from others in Metro Detroit. Heed the warnings. Seems like Verizon gets the most good reviews.

Dont even bother trying to use the phone. The two-way works once in a while. I just switched to T-Mobile and have had no problems.
