The reception outside is spotty at best, and inside it's nonexistent. I can never receive calls here and I have to wander around outside to find a good spot to even consider making a call, and even then the phone will possibly drop the call. I wish Alltel or Verizon now I guess would build a tower closer to this area. Anyway, I plan to change providers as soon as I can.

Alltel still is really bad in Remus. Cellular One is good in Remus. Oh yeah, and in Lakeview, Alltel gets an excellent signal now because a tower was put up some time ago. Because I live in Remus though, I'm probably going to be switching to Cellone soon.

My phone is pretty much constantly in Analog Roaming, and it drops calls very frequently. Like every 5 or 10 minutes or everytime I sit down. It does work okay for limited conversations though. I can hear the people on the other end fine much of the time, but they don't seem to be able to hear me very well. It would appear that the nearest tower is 6 or 7 miles away, and the countryside is a little bit hilly around that area so maybe that's the problem. In any case the reception is generally very bad.
