We moved here in 2007 and do not use land lines. We had Nextel. I tried everything to try and get out of our contract early without a termination fee. I was told to try Sprint service which we did and it extended our contract a few months. I could only get 3 to 4 bars outside or standing inside by the windows and from 1 to 2 bars walking around inside. Alot of calls were dropped. I had the same signal with either Sprint or Nextel. After a year of doing what they said to do and dealing with the poor signal, I was finally told to fax a letter discribing my problem to: Sprint Early Termination / Out of Coverage Dept. Fax #866-220-6442 I was able to get out of my contract without a penalty.

Have you heard - an independent study said Cingular has the least dropped calls. Apparently they haven't asked anyone in Macomb County about dropped calls. I-94 through St. Clair Shores no reception. Armada no reception and I could go on -- But I did find something interesting. All through areas of Colorodo, Nebraska, Kansas I had no problem getting a signal - no one lived in the areas because all you could see for miles were corn fields or mountains. Now - why did I get a signal where there were only corn fields and in a populated area of Macomb Country THERE IS NO SIGNAL. Cingular can't give me an answer, but they want me to continue their service. HAH

Might as well not have a phone when driving in this area.

I can rarely receive or send calls from my home. As soon as I turn onto Howard, I lose all bars. I love Verizon, but there's a hole in their coverage here. "Can you hear me now? Nope"
