Works great around my location, no other serviced worked at our home.

When visiting relatives on Cowen Lake the voice and text reception was fine with my LG Optimus M from MetroPCS. I got data on their deck and a bedroom but not in the main family room for some reason. I did not do have time to test other rooms in the house but the service was so good that my relatives are going to pick up a great price unlimited MetroPCS plan for themselves. I don't recall exactly how many bars registered on the phone while at my relatives but I think it was 2 or 3. I have noticed that everywhere I have gone since I got the phone (Allegan, Muskegon / Michigan Adventures, Grand Rapids, Lansing) the service has been fine even if my phone only registerd 1 bar. I have 4 phones on a Verizon family plan. Recently switched on to MetroPCS. The service has worked so well for us that I'm going to switch over the other 3 phones soon. Hope this helps!

I wish I could report great reception (like others I've read here). I am close to Bella Vista Communty Church on Belding Rd. My calls are dropped frequently and reception is poor. I wanted to cancel my landline service, but my cell coverage is too unreliable where I'm at.

It is obvious that Sprint has improved their network in this area... Full bars and a good carrier for this area.

Terrible reception. Can barely use the phone outside of my house even.

I have Alltel,now Verizon. Poor to no service and getting worse by the day now that Verizon took over. I feel like I'm living the Green Acres dream, you know, climb the pole to get reception.

There is a cell tower near and I get full roaming bars, but only 2 bars non-roaming

Cingular has greatly improved the reception here in the past few months. Not only in Rockford but all over Grand Rapids and most other areas in the state of Michigan, I travel all over the state for a maintenance company and a buddy of mine has Verizon Wireless, while I have Cingular, lets just say he's always asking to use my cell phone to make phone calls because his service is so poor everywhere we seem to travel.

Incredible reception at my home, I honestly can't loose one bar.. Perfect Reception... My house it not even a mile from the cell tower with the top five cell phone providers and Cingular seems to be the only provider that will give me service at and inside my house, a couple of my family members have Verizon Wireless yet they can't seem to get even one bar of reception at my house, while with my Cingular phone I can't loose one bar, for this area there is really no competition when it comes to Cingular... .

My Verizon phone barely gets one bar of reception. I am going to try Alltel and see if it's any better..

I get no reception at my house. I get barely any reception in my yard. I go to the Grist station and I have no service. Piece of crap. I had other models from my employer as well. Some of the new camera phones. Same thing. I would not recommend it to anyone in Cannonsburg area.

I travel around Grand Rapids area all day and seldom get more that 2 bars. Several areas drop calls. The longer I have Verizon, the worst the service gets!

Service is pretty good everywhere except for where I need it the most. my phone does not work in my house or outside of my house. If I want to use it, I have to hop in my car and drive down the road. I like the service otherwise. Nextel gets 5 bars in my house, but cuts out everywhere else. I wish there was a compromise. I am trying to find a good service that will also work at my house! Is that too much to ask?

Within North Lake Bella Vista reception is very poor... nextel and Alltel worked good

I get good reception in most areas, except some spots on the e. beltline going to and from grand rapids... where I get dropped calls. But the biggest headache is that when I enter the new meijers store on 10 mile and 131, I get NO reception at all. This is a headache.

The signal could not be much stronger. Probably the best in Rockford area.
