Outside, have to find reception and stand like a statue. When driving in town (Gibraltar) have to go to a bridge where I am higher. Hardly ever works in the house. Never more than two bars. My son's Nextel works fine in and out. I'm switching.

I have to walk two blocks to the city park to get satisfactory reception

Over the years I have used AT&T, Nextel, Verizon and Sprint. Verizon had the worst over all reception followed by Nextel. Sprint has the best reception both where I live (in Gibraltar Mi) and wherever I go. I get 5 bars at home. The only time a call has ever been dropped is when my wife gets alongside a big semi on I75 near Mc Nichols in Detroit (she also uses sprint). I have been with Sprint 5 years and I"m going to stay there. About 4 years ago my wife and I where in the car at 9 mile and John R in Hazel Park at a fast food place when she tried to make a call from her Verizon phone. She had no signal at all, my Sprint phone had 4 bars! I threw hers away (it was a pre pay) and put her on my plan with Sprint. Now when I hear "Can you hear me now?" I spit at the T V!.

Many dropped calls. Most of the time, very little to no service. Does not function inside home. Need to be in back yard to use then only on a very limited basis. Son has Nextel, it works.

No reception at home in Gibraltar at Park St., N. Gibraltar Rd. and Jefferson Ave.

I have to move around in my home. Many dropped calls. Better reception outside. On positive comment... .Verizon was one of the first carriers somewhat up and running during the blackout of 2004.

Ever since the merger with Cingular, the reception has been getting worse. I used to have 5 bars, now I am luck if I get two. Numerous dropped calls at my home now.
