Coverage has been excellent. Data speeds have dramatically improved often running 3-6 Mbps down and 1.5 up. I also have a Verizon Mifi. There is Verizon Lte coverage in Bruce Twp now from the Ford Proving Grounds after a 2 month work ticket. Kudos to Verizon.

I left the last review after I switched to Verizon from ATT. Well, I just switched back to ATT because Verizon confirmed NO LTE coverage in Bruce Twp. In fact no Verizon LTE north of 32 Mile Rd. Well, I now have an excellent signal on ATT's HSPA+ network and voice quality is terrific and data speeds are consitantly running at 4-6 Mbps / 500k-1.7 Mbps down / up. Data also runs at that speed in Imlay City, Almont, and Richmond.

12 / 26 / 10 Update. ATT does infact have full 3G coverage in Imlay City Mi. They are getting closer to filling in the void in 3G coverage from Port Huron to Flint.

Switched from ATT to Verizon to get the Thunderbolt because Verizon's 4G map said my address was in the LTE market. Well, been on the phone with tech support 3 times because NO 4G Lte at my address. Coverage map shows 4G from the center of the Ford proving grounds and extended 4G coverage way out northeast of Bordman rd. Sitting at 34 mile and Fisher Rd (Proving grounds entrance) still no 4G. The 3G signal at my house it terrible. Avg download speeds during peak time is 20-100Kbps. Much better speeds in Romeo and in Almont but SLOW in between. ATT has smaller 3G areas but much clearer sounding voice calls. Anybody looking to switch from ATT in my area I would not recommend at this time.

Coverage at home is poor to romeing. At M53 and Van Dyke I can have full signal. Looks like all the towers are located to the east and south. This phone was provided by work so I was hoping to drop my personl line. No luck.
