I am usually using an extended network. I have to make all my calls outside. When outside I get 1-2 bars inside I get 1 to no service. Verizion please build a tower for us college students out here!

I am a college student that goes to Spring Arbor University. At one pointI had Sprint here, and the cell phone service quality was almost not existant. When I switched to Alltel I have amazing service everywhere on campus, including in the basement of Lowell building (2 bars but still clear). I have the nationwide service, and sometimes roam, but the roaming is free so it doen'st make much difference to me. When I went to Florida on a Disney internship, I had complete coverage, sometimes through roaming, everywhere from MI to FLorida and used the data internet connection (phone as modem) and achieved speeds up to 1.2 mbps.

call starts and then drops from inside my home. my old phone worked much better. a dinosaur, but I want it back.. frustrating when you depend on your cell for primary phone:(
