Poor service in this area with Sprint. I'm constantly dropping calls, but my wife's phone on AT&T seems to be working fine. While at work in the city, the phone works perfectly. It's the area.

We have had Verizon from the first and their service has constantly improved as cell service in general has improved. I think a lot of people in the older generations still think a phone is a phone, is a phone. People have to realize we're talking 'WIRE LESS'. It simply means you got no wire carrying the signal. Many factors can affect radio frequency 'wireless' signals with the lack of power cell phones have. If you expect perfect signals, keep dreaming. Not even NASA can give you that. Go wire if you want to get better.

Dead zones Linden / Hill ~ Reid Rd. near Hill ~ my driveway ~ East end of my home? Can always use Direct Connect as backup to others that have it ~ considering Power Source phone soon. Signal depends on air traffic overhead.

Dropping calls or no reception in this area. Nextel worst so far in this area and around Flint.

I almost always have a perfect signal in Flint area. I usually only have trouble on 57 past Chesaning toward Elsie, bannister and Ashley.

I'm using the Motorola V400 at present time with 1-3 bars of reception, constant cutting out, and several failed calls. I had Nextell for long time but was dropping calls. I switched to Verizon with a LG phone but it was not good. So now I am with Cingular with a Motorola V400. This is the worst yet, even with a signal booster behind the battery. We will probably have to get some kind of additional antenna. Sprint doesn't have good reception here either.
