Much better than Verizon. Still has dead zone on Ridge Hwy. between 50 and Moreville. Works everywhere in the house but sometimes not so good in the basement. Very seldom have any reception issues wherever we travel.

Solid 4 bars. I have this phone for work through Alltel and decided to get Alltel for my family. If you have problems with connectivity do the *228 and press 2 when prompted. I was having short battery life until I did the *228 and Now I can talk for 3-4 hours. I received a call from my son located in a remote part of Colorado. He says he is able to et about 10 miles closer to base camp than with Verizon. I would recommend an analog / digital phone to pick up both networks when in remote areas. Just be sure to not make a call if the triangle is solid. It's ok to make calls if the triangle is flashing. Had a slight static problem about 4 months ago, called Alltel service and they got right o it and fixed the problem

Loose calls frequently. Verizon admits they are not licensed in this area. Sometimes no signal available. My son left me a message on Wednesday and I got it only after I received another message several days later.

I have signal when other cell phones from other carriers do not.

Mostly in Tecumseh the SPRINT PCS reception is very good, even indoors. Basements, not too good, and some of the large stores induce signal fade as you get into the middle of them. But, SPRINT PCS service in Tecumseh Michigan is overall very good.

I've been with Verizon for five years. My previous phone was a Samsung sch-a310. I enjoyed good reception with both phones. Verizon's staff in Ann Arbor at both locations have been helpful and pleasant. My travels have been up and down I-75 and I haven't had any problems making or receiving calls or making calls nationwide. Because I live in a non-Verizon area the bells and whistles on the phone (transmitting pictures) don't work until I move to a Verizon covered area.

The tower is behind Tecumseh Tire. Provides acceptable reception to the south side of the city.
