	Marginal reception with analog Motorola Bag Phone in White Pine, but TracFone Nokia and CellularOne Nokia will only work in Ontonagon (northern terminus of US-45) at Pat's Foods on M-38. Called once from downtown Ontonagon on the Motorola and got charged roaming from Thunder Bay, Ontario tower (across Lake Superior) Governor Granholm tried three different cell phones and couldn't get a connection from Ontonagon on a visit a couple of years ago--thought maybe the Governor could get phone service upgraded here. The Porcupine Mountains Wilderness State Park is nearby with over 100,000 visitors / year, yet still poor cellular phone service.
