For those of you in Michigan. Go to the Michigan State Attorney General's office and file a compalint against the public utilties. I did. How can a carrier charge you for service, but not provied it? The more who file a complaint the more they will listen, and the State will make them listen.

I have had Verizon for almost eight years. The reception is as bad now as it was then. I can receive calls at home, but they drop the moment I answer them. There seems to be a bubble over the Woodland area. From just south of Lake Odessa to Carlton Center to Coats Grove to M66. Just no signal. If I am in Hastings or Ionia, it works great. Everyone around here has Nextel or boost. My son had Boost and could sit in the living room and talk. I had to go outside, walk to the middle of the cornfield and stand on my head to even get the call to go through but then it would just drop anyway. My son now has Sprint and it also works fine at home. I am currently looking to switch to prepaid. My husband has a tracfone and that gets a good signal just about anywhere, but they charge DOUBLE minutes for Roaming and apparently, we are roaming no matter where we are, home or not. Also, Tracfone's customer service is shockingly horrible. Do not expect to speak to anyone in / from this country.
