They must have activated a new tower within the last couple of days. Never had signal in my house, dropped calls all the time but now, perfect signal (4 bars, all the time). It used to be anywhere on burlingame between 36th and 52nd street was bad signal. Not anymore!

No reception what so ever in my house, if I step outside I may get a bar. Searching for signal always. SWITCHING TO SPRINT because their phones get great reception in my home.

Have to basically stand outside my house to get service. Drop calls all the time on Burlingame from 36th to 52nd st. Other services like T-Mobile and Sprint have perfect reception in my house.

Cingular gets awesome coverage all over the Wyoming / Grandville / Allendale / Jenison (Greater Grand Rapids) area. I have been with Sprint / Nextel, and Verizon. Neither have come close to the areas I have been able to get reception at. Fewest dropped calls is a fact, and best coverage / no roaming has not let me down. I highly reccomend anyone to Cingular's "All-Over" network for the best coverage and best phones.

This is the worst area for reception for this phone. I'm lucky if I get enough reception to receive or send a text message let alone answer a call. Unfortunately I live in this area at Timber Ridge apartments and I have to go outside to the end of the parking lot which is slightly higher in elevation to receive a signal good enough that my phone won't drop the call just because I look to the left instead of the right. There is even 3x3ft area in my living room where my phone is in roaming mode.

I am at the point that I get stressed when my cell phone rings. I know that I will have a hard time hearing what people say. When I am at home, behind the First Assembly of God church, I have to walk into the middle of my driveway, hope for no wind and stand on my right foot and I am lucky if I get reception. Heading west from Byron Center towards Ivanrest, usually on 52nd or 44th, you are guaranteed to loose reception. It just seems like my Nextel is so sensitive. I would love to go to all cell phones and loose my land line but I am afraid that I will never be able to talk in my home again!

If driving through this intersection with ANY Nextel phone, be prepared for a dropped call. No matter who I am speaking with on my Nextel phone, or what type of phone someone else is using, the call is lost in this area. The surrounding area for about one quarter mile in any direction is also a problem.
