3G is in place and full bars in all of Albert Lea and most of the surrounding area. Lots of 3G in rural areas, too. Full bars inside my office. The area network has been upgraded as promised.

I've been with T-Mobile for seven years, and I only had problems with coverage when I first signed up. Within the past five years I've had zero dropped calls and great reception. No problems anymore.

At&t simply sucks for cell phone coverage throughout the southern two tiers of counties in Minnesota. I have frequent dropped calls and areas where there is no coverage at all. The worse areas are always within 5 miles of the Iowa border, north of Albert Lea towards New Richland, South of Adams on Hwy. 56 and East of Grand Meadows to the river. I had Verizon for years and as bad as it's coverage is, AT&T wins the prize. I had better reception 2o years ago with my bag phone. I spend over $3,000 per year for crap.

We have to go OUTSIDE our house in order to even hear or talk on our phones. NO reception north towards Hartland, New Richland, Ellendale, Clarks Grove areas. Not until we get to a larger TOWN. This stuff should be good for in the COUNTRY folks areas. Not for city people who can communicate with anyone. Our towers are one to NONE most of the time! Poor service. No one knows NOTHING when you tell them your problems!

i was midwest wireless for 6 years and know had no choice I had to go to Alltel sence they took over my service went from ok to realy bad drop calls in my house all the time I would like to find some place better why pay for no service!

Lived here for over a year, had Verizon from before. Always get ok voice reception around town, but don't get any service for verizon's digital services. Strange given Albert Lea's close proximity to 2 major interstates.

In Albert Lea, Minnesota today I got one bar but was unable to make a call. The sales people at the store in the North Bridge Mall said they could not use their own cells phones. They said something about the microchips in the towers were not working and that is why I had no reception, dropped calls, and ended calls as well as no service. I have used two other cell companies and this is by far the worst in reception and customer service.
