With Verizon I find that calls are often sent to voicemail or things sound good on my side but are grainy and choppy for the people I call. There is a part of 35w by Cty Rd 42 where I always lose reception. Any time I travel anywhere I am roaming. Wisconsin, Winona, Rochester etc. I found that I had good service untill I updated my service ( I dislike that I have to remember to update my own phone cause what am I paying for?) after that point, people started complaining that my phone sounded like rain and I get cut off more frequently. In Minneapolis I have pretty good service.

Good GSM and GPRS signal. EDGE works well. Now if they could restore GPRS support to T-Mobile devices in the upper half of the state, all would be well.

I live in the Burnsville area, but I frequently am up in St. Paul and I have never had a problem. I have family in Brainerd and Fargo, never had any problems going to and from both places. I have friends that go to school in Mankato and Duluth and have never had any problems there. When I had Sprint I would drop at least 2 or 3 phone calls a week. With Verizon I haven't dropped a call yet in the 8 months I have had the service. I would highly reccomend Verizon to anybody looking for good strong service.

First of all, I was in the cell phone business for several years and worked for different phone manufactures as a representative. (My Credentials) I listed multiple location, but the area is probably Eden Prairie, MN as a whole. I have 0 - 1 bars most of the time when I am in Eden Prairie and at work. Seems like if you are not around the mall that the reception is not very good. For certain I have zero barbs on places like Anderson Lake Parkway, Pioneer Trail and places on Shady Oak Rd. At first I thought it may be the phone that I carry so I took a few of the phones I have from my last position as a rep and tested them. They all produced similar results. However, I could pick up a better signal with my 3200 when a signal was available that is (Just an FYI). I have also noticed that my GSM and TDMA coverage seems spotty now that the merger has changed. I have had friends that have switched to Cingular and said they have coverage in the same places I do not. Has anyone else experienced this issue. I called Cingular and they told me I need a new phone and a new sim card, but would have to sign another contract with them. Yeah, right.

Much better than AT&T and Verizon. Both in reception and customer service. A lot clearer calls and a lot fewer dropped calls. Verizon shows a lot bigger coverage area but believe me it's very unrealistic. When you do have service half the time you are roaming. As far as AT&T, they were just awful all the way around.

Much better than AT&T and Verizon whom I've had in the past. A lot less dropped calls and much clearer calls.
