Dead spot due to terrain. AT&T won't do anything to help.

Gets 1 bar of service on 1st floor but gets up to full bars on 2nd floor and outside so can't complain too much. Also gets between 2-4 bars all the way to the twin cities.

I live in a dead zone that hasn't improved in years, according to the number of dropped calls experienced by friends as they approach my house. But, by far, the worst reception has been with Virgin Mobile and its carrier, Sprint. We can only make calls from outside the house and calls never reach us from incoming attempts.

T-Mobile does NOT have 3g coverage in Duluth. The only reason the Vibrant does is because it just so happens to be on the same frequencies that the AT&T towers use. Unfortunately the Mytouch doesn't have that perk. I knew that I wasn't going to have 3G in Duluth, but I was told that my Edge would be fantastic. Wrong. I frequently get dropped calls, my service will go from 4 bars to 0 and drop service. I am currently trying to get out of my contract and will go back to Verizon. They're expensive, yes, but I have NEVER had the problems with them that I do with T-Mobile. Too bad, the Mytouch is a fantastic phone.

I am getting 3-4 bars of 3g coverage at my friends house in Duluth. I was surprised to discover T-Mobile had 3G here. I have a Vibrant and did a speedtest and got 1900kbs down speeds and in Superior WI across the bridge I got 2800kbs download speeds with really good, solid coverage everywhere from downtown to the west side with my phone set to 3G only.

always drop calls at my house, in my yard, and driving in my car... my phone only rings about 40% of the time, otherwise caller says it goes straight to voicemail. get texts, but sometimes can be up to an hour or more late! so frustrated and wonder if the AT&T switch is going to help out at all...

Verizon sucks in my area! Dropped calls all the time, no service at my home, which is in the middle of town! Can't wait till my contract is up. AT&T here my family comes!

All over Duluth AT&T has GREAT coverage! I've never had a dropped call like I had with Verizon. Speeds are great. Can't wait till this T-Mo merger goes through so I can have great LTE coverage! AT&T is the best hands down!

Verizon SUCKS and they can shove their early contract cancellation fees straight into the place where their heads are.

Been using Verizon Wireless for about 2 years now, previously used Cellular One (pre-AT&T). I can count the number of "dropped" calls that I was responsible for on 1 hand between 3 devices. Verizon's data services are unparalleled in the extended area. Between a Storm 1 and a Motorola Droid, the data coverage has really exceeded my expectations. I was getting 90 kb / s transfer speeds over the network in ELY, MN (by the Subway Sub Shop). I went to the Twins / Royals game Thursday; no problems the entire way down or back. I was able to use Skype Mobile App on my Android phone and send / receive calls for free over the 3G network. Very cool service i've been using on Verizon's network for a while now.

Only 1 spot in area I will lose a call... .hwy 33 on the way to Cloquet

T-Mobile reception in Duluth is not great but is improving. When I moved up there in Fall 2009 for school they had basically no coverage, and I was always roaming. When I left earlier this month, they had coverage in UMD, though rarely more than 3 bars, and there were only a few places where I got no reception. No idea what data is like, but I know there's no 3G, so I doubt it's good.

Duluth has FULL 3G! Excited!

Completely suck! Had Unicell and it was ok and Verizon took over and they SUCK! My friend has AT&T (used to have Cell One) way better phones and gets signal everywhere. I also travel to the brainerd Lakes Area and they are so spotty and my friend who has AT&T can talk the whole way. I can't wait to switch!

By far the WORST cell company I have had in all aspects!

They bought out Cellular One and I love it. We get Cellular Ones great reception on the newest and best devices! And after reading previous comments they are number 1 in this area. A+++

Good most places in Duluth, but not at UMD.

Lots of hype on the EVDO REVa capabilities. Got it because I wanted to use it as a modem tether to laptop for internet. I thought my first LG Dare was not functioning properly, but now the 2nd does the same- no bars inside with a clear view of the lake. On the lake ice-fishing, I called my neighbor fishing next to me; 1 bar. He said he heard about 1 / 3 of what I said and hung up on me. With a 3 year old phone and ATT service, he gets 4 bars inside my house not near the windows. I am on a 30 day trial period and will probably go back to the store to try another phone; probably not an LG dumb phone. If that does not work, its time to try some other carrier.

From intersection of county roads 44 and 37 to and past Pequaywan Lake to county 16 near Fairbanks no coverage. Occasional one bar settings en route but no service.
