I have been very disappointed with my reception for my trips to Park Rapids. I'm not sure if it's my phone or what? Usually I get decent service but lately I don't much reception at all. I don't get service in buildings much anymore. The main thing that irritates me is that I have no service on my trips to Park Rapids except when I am in Park Rapids.

NO problems whatsoever. Works great all over the campus and surrounding the area. The only problem I have is when I head home (Brainerd), there is a dead spot right after the Blackbear Casino.

a few droped calls now and then but mostly becuase of the phone its self, currently have LG but had several nokias before and had no troubles with the network.. overall I think cell one has the best and most reliable coverage in the area, at least where I go.. Im sure some places are dead spots.. there is a lot of iron in the ground around here, it can have an affect on the reception

Reception for the TimberRidge town homes in hermantown, MN is actually pretty good. And now there is finally EVDO. Nice improvment. Overall, Sprint service is great in Duluth.

I've tried 'em all and this is the best for reception if you live north of Duluth. There are many spots where there is nothing. I think the only cell tower is on moose mountain. That doesn't get it when driving around north of Duluth.

i have never had coverage in this area with T-Mobile no matter what phone I am using. they are advertising great new coverage in the twin cities market for this area. I now have spotty unusable reception from the pike river almost to two harbors. wow, thanks for nothing. I had a large party on july 7-9 that told the story. T-Mobile users= no reception, Verizon and Sprint users= great reception, cellular one= great reception.

Orchard St. / Boundary Ave. intersection, Duluth, MN 55810 |
Tue Jun 13, 2006 |
Sprint has told me they were having difficulties negotiating a lease for putting a tower in Proctor. (They wanted to put one up in the DM&IR / CN Rail yards.) The reception in the Proctor / Bayview Heights area was somewhat weak. It had gotten better for a while, but seems to have deminished again. Notable loss of service spots: * Hwy. 2 from Boundary Ave. down to I 35. (Especially on the underpass under I 35.) * Sometimes Spotty coverage on I 35 from Hwy. 2 to the Cody St.Exit. * Sometimes spotty coverage of Vinland St, near the Power Lines. * Sometimes spotty coverage on Highland St.between Oneota Cemetary and the Highland Vinland intersection. * A fairly big dead spot on the Getchel Rd.between the St. Louis River Rd.to about a block shy of the Morris Thomas Road. * Somewhat spotty coverage on the Skyline Dr.due to the geography (many twists and turns).
