Locally my reception has been very good. I have signal through out my home. I also travel a seven state area for work and very rarely have coverage issues. Overall, I am really happy with their network and coverage, however, I am not happy with the cell phone offerings from Verizon lately. While all of the other carriers have introduced the new blackberry 9000 models Verizon has offered nothing. Being a business user and knowing that Verizon focuses on business it is surprising they would let its business oriented devices lag behind their competition. Overall, I have been happy with Verizon.

Not just AT&T but T-Mobile, Sprint and Verizon all act the same here. Anywhere north of Broadway on Xingu St. NE in Columbus Township is 1 or none for antenna signal. Most 10min + phone calls result in dropped calls without the aid of a external antenna booster hooked up to your cell phone and even then, it's touch and go... Text and picture messages, as well as voicemails (from the incoming call that never even rang on your end), all show up "late to the party". Often have had to drive east on Broadway to get closer to 35W / Forest Lake in order to sustain phone calls without drops. This is a township (now city) just west of Forest Lake, MN - Not the Moon!

SPRINT puts me in roam everywhere! I have dead spots and can't get service at my home (in Forest Lake) or at work (in Roseville). I was at the State Fair in St. Paul and in roaming all day. Not only does the phone service stink, but we have had extrem billing issues. Have you ever had to talk to the customer support center? No help -just bad attitude. I'm going back to AT&T, I had good service almost everywhere -- it was my freinds and family who sabatoged my communication.
