Reception dies about 1 mile north of Grand Rapids. It doesn't even try to search, it just dies. It has been this way for YEARS AND YEARS and they never do anything about it. Big fat nothing from their customer service, too. Theirs is the worst customer service on earth, any business, anywhere, any time, anybody, and who knows why.

you don't list my carrier, which is unicel. I get decent reception on unicel and I live about 13 miles north of grand rapids, mn. my neighbors have cellular 1 and they don't get reception here.

Coverage is fair to Average in this area, however the company there is using 850MHZ towers (Dobson wireless), so an 850MHZ compat phone is required.
