The only way to avoid constant dropped calls is to leave my house and go outside, which is lovely considering Minneapolis's balmy winters.

Only bad areas are in underground parking ramps, etc. Verizon has a good downtown coverage, but I'm not sure their high prices are worth their data plans.

Excellent reception in my house. Rarely a dropped call. From my experience, T-Mobile works well in almost any area of the Twin Cities (had to switch from AT&T to T-Mobile after moving here).

At best, one bar, if standing in front of the window of the living room on one leg. Had to switch to T-Mobile to get reception in my house.

this has been an ongoing problem for years in the nw mpls area and north side. Nokia phones helped as they never lost or failed to get a call.

Terrible reception that cuts in and out. My old Motorola phone from Verizon would at least hold a signal. I had the same problem with ATT as well.

Very poor reception and loss of calls. No surrounding structures, no hills, no surrounding foilage. There is about a 3 square mile area in the 55437 area that is bad. I have contacted Verizon and they mentioned to much terrain blockage. I tested T-Mobile and AT&T they had almost full bars. Verizon also stated no tower adjustments are in the near future.

Probably more than 50% of the time I have no bars around campus (even outside sometimes!). T-Mobile might be the worst carrier on campus. Whenever I lose service, I will not get it back unless I restart it in an area that I know I receive service. I usually restart my phone 10-15 times a day. Ridiculous!

50th and Lyndale to 50th and Penn is terrible, as is 50th and Xerxes to Hwy. 62, and most of the Linden Hills Neihgborhood. AT&T is the WORST carrier in Minneapolis

Everywhere And / My House, Minneapolis, MN 55411 Mon Aug 18, 2008

Ever since the switch from Cingular, my reception is spotty at best. I can get most calls, make most calls, but at least 50% of my calls drop during the conversation. It's not just in my house either, it's everywhere. None of my friends have AT and T and they laugh at how poor my service. Now, not only is my service terrible, but I'm losing friends.

We almost always have a "perfect" signal in our neighborhood, inside and outside of buildings. This was not the case with T-Mobile or Verizon.

Tried new Iphone (switched from Verizon to ATT) the day iphone came out... had two dropped calls that day. never had dropped calls with Verizon in 8 years. had to switch back to verizon. I REALLY want the Iphone, but ATT has such spotty cell service TOO BAD ATT - you really need to follow through with your "more bars" ads and put up more towers!
