T-Mobile reception in Prior Lake is a JOKE! I have at least 5 dropped calls a day, and about 5 missed calls a day due to horrible reception. I've got better reception in just about any town other than Prior Lake. Also I've gone through 6 Motorola Cliq's in 5 months due to "software issues", and now I've had a BlackBerry Bold 9700 for about 2 months now. The phone is good, but the reception is still HORRIBLE!

Great coverage, even inside buildings.

Usually get two or three bars. I do ususally connect and am rarely dropped.

I have had 3 phones since being on T-Mobile, from bottom rung to blue tooth, and camera phone. Honestly, I haven't had a decent conversation yet with t-mobile! I am constantly dropped, or poor coverage. I live in Prior Lake, and the call drops once on my street (Shady Beach Trail). Then it drops again 3 miles from my house on 18. If I go towards savage or burnsville, it drops twice before going 10 miles to 35W! I am so annoyed that I don't tell any stories while on the phone, because inevitably I will be talking to myself for at least half of it! I travel all over, and on the way to Rochester it cuts out about 6 times, and then I just give up about 1 / 2 way there. My friends and family hate talking to me when I am on my cell phone! I absolutely would not recommend it. My mother yelled at me the other day to get a new carrier. She said, "Aren't you supposed to be doing business on this thing? I am surprised your clients tolerate it!"

I cannot get this phone to work anywhere in Prior Lake, Savage, Burnsivlle, Shaopee... When I called T-Mobile from ourside my house they had me go inside. The call was dropped. They called me back on my home phone and said they couldn't do anything. It was the phone and again, they refused to assist with the phone issues, stating I could buy a "better" phone from them for $300.00. At this point I was on a month to month service so I told them to forget it... I would switch carriers. AT&T was the best as far as coverage in this area, for me anyway. Their customer service was so bad I switched to T-Mobile... a rather larger mistake. AT&T told me it is not their responsibility for errors made by their employees and said to read the contract... it's in there. I am attempting Sprint now, but was told Cingular and Verison are the best. Cingular bought out AT&T, I believe... so hopefully their customer service has improved. I told T-Mobile I was posting on their lack of customer service. The supervisor laughed and said to go ahead... he's not concerned. Arrogant jerk. I have hisname and am emailing the pwoers that be at T-Mobile the posts I am writing... not the replys as that is not appropriate.

Sprint just sucks in this area of Prior Lake, MN. The phone works fine up to Cty Rd 42 and 21 intersection, but once you turn south to 21, your conversation will most likely end, you will lose signal and until you reach Cty Rd 13 you will gain reception again. Sometimes this happens in downtown Prior Lake, inside the coffe shop, the city hall and the O'Malley's bar. The company insists on me buying another phone, but there is no guarantee that it will fix my problem.
