My wife and I have no home phone. We rely on our cell phones for every day use. I am considering getting a home number again as sprints reception is horrendous. Every call my wife makes to me or visa-versa is dropped. After 2-3 calls we end up texting what we want. Very dissapointed in the reception. We both have high quality, expensive phones.

Spotty reception all in southern metro. Lots of dead spots along Cedar Ave in Apple Valley. My husband doesn't even get half of the calls I make to him when he's at work in Northfield.

I've seen a lot of debate regarding the TDMA vs. the GSM for the Minneapolis / St. Paul area in regards to coverage, and by looking at the coverage maps for both, here is what I've noticed and observed by actual useage. Special features that AT&T has to offer such as: Mobile To Mobile, International Texting Messaging, and International Calling. TDMA is the best choice for coverage. Compare both maps and observe the red coverage line. TDMA is what you want for the above features. International power users take note! Also, I'm in Dakota County (Farmington) and travel to and from the northside of Minneapolis on a daily basis. Both TDMA (V60 color) and GSM (V600) seem to be equal in regards to coverage so far. In fact, towards Hastings and down near Coates along Hwy. 52, GSM has slightly better coverage. I will admit that i was nervous about GSM at first, but after using it along the same routes as with the TDMA, I was pleasantly surprised with the coverage.
