Reception is spotty at best. Lots of dropped calls and poor clarity. Very hard to carry a lengthy conversation. Reported service issue to Verizon and their service technician agreed the call is poor and will only improve when a new tower is available. No time frame was given when new towers would be available. Closest towers are 5-6 miles away and are facing away from Watertown.

Watertown is in the Crow River valley. There is no reception in the downtown area. As you proceed east towards Minneapolis on Hwy. 7, reception goes in and out. It is impossible to carry on a conversation for more than a few minutes while driving east from Watertown. The same is true traveling North to Delano. I have seen the same problems with T-Mobile. The far west metro area is problematic for GSM service.
