Decent reception. However, my friends always get an "unavailable" message when they call me. It's causing me and my roommate, who has the same phone and carrier, a lot of problems. Sometimes friends have to text me to tell me to call them, after calling 4 times and receiving an unavailable message. This will happen when I'm not using the phone or anything! Super annoying. We are switching carriers asap.

Good signal from Texas Ave. on south, kind of spotty north of Texas. The hill gets in the way of the tower at Garth and Bus. 70.

Cannot get reception. If I do, the call is dropped. I live off Route B and Oakland Church and I cannot find a spot in my home to make a call, not even outside. When I drive to Hallsville there is no reception at all. Terrible serivce.

I've lived in CoMo 3 years and have never thought of switching due to service problems. I have found 1 dead spot on 63 on the bend after Route B / Paris Rd exit, but other than that all is great.

The signal either is too low to make a call or no reception at all around this area. Further than that, absolutely no reception. As long as I'm close to I-70, reception is pretty good, except when I'm in a warehouse building like where I work where the phone would display "Emergency Call Only".

Reception and service has been a problem for a while and continues to decline. I commute between Columbia / Jefferson City daily. Dropped calls are the norm even in the city limits of Columbia and Jefferson city. Travel around the country and experience the same thing in other locations. They tried to say it was my phone and talk me into buying a new one, but friends and family members with different phones experience the same problems. Most have already switched service providers. My family and I are in the process of doing the same thing.

With both my Samsung and the Treo, I very frequently had to stand outside to get any sort of reception at all and even that was touch and go. 2-3 dropped calls per day. Pretty sad for having I-70 100 yards from my house. I feel bad if anyone breaks down and needs to use their Sprint phone right there.

As others have mentioned, Brookside townhomes have TERRIBLE reception! I don't get any. The staff will tell you that they're getting it fixed, but haven't done anything about it. Unless you like paying over $500 a month for rent (per person) and going outside or standing by a window still to have your call dropped, DO NOT live at brookside! It will get old fast.

Decent reception south of Columbia heading into McBain; spotty coverage on KK by turns heading toward Nifong (not always, but I consider it unreliable at best); Nifong is good coverage, so is Forum all the way north to Stadium.
