I had to try several phones to find one that had good reception. It IS the phone out here NOT the towers. I have a Motorola T720 and LG 4050 both work great. You may need to upgrade to the 64K sim card inside your phone to pick up the new towers that have just been put up in last year. I had several Samsung phones and NONE of them work good out here. I live in Ste. Gen County by Botkin lumber. The new tower takes the new sim card to hold the EXTRA programming required for them. Also when traveling I was told to shut off your phone and turn it back on the pick up the new towers, it does work. Please try your phone for the 30 day trial and drive around in the COUNTRY with it to give it the real test... .Good luck

ATT is one of the best providers out there we live in a valley at list 30 minutes from main fredricktown. we get perfect signal. my entire family uses ATT we all have together about 10 phones out there and all get 2 - 5 through out the basement home. don't know where the previous people are who commented on AT&T are but we lover the services they provide. though the plans are lacking in some ways they are on the improve.

I have terrible reception where ever I am. Even a dip in the road ends the connection.

Hahn State park has NO, I mean NO reception, due to being in a steep valley. Pagers will NOT even work there. Doe Run MO to Ironton MO has no recption due to towers only being at Farmington, Once you leave Farmington city limits going west you will have no signal. Good luck with pagers out there also. New tower added by Lakes Genevieve on hwy 32, but requires new 64K simcard (that Cingular will give for free if you ask) for the additional programming. You will have to have Cingular credit your account $50 per simcard and then buy them at local dealer(they charge$50). However you can get them on E-Bay for $9.99 yourself and save $
