3G just came online for the post last night. I had good reception with no dropped calls before then and look forward to the increased speed of cellular internet for the rest of my stay.

I was a loyal AT&T customer until I came here to Missouri for training and after being here for 2 months and suffering at slow if none data rates and dropped calls when walking in buildings or even just driving around post I switched to Sprint. I was told by a buddy of mine who has been here the same amount of time as I have his service has been consistently fast, he has Sprint. I have had Sprint now for only 2 days but have noticed I have 3G all day unless I go into a old building, probably with bad insulation. When there is no 3G there is Sprint's 1X, which is still fast. I have never completely lost service yet, 1 bar a couple of times but never no bars.

Signal fades in and out on post, happy with Sprint but switching to T-Mobile because of poor reception.

Reception in the Sturgis area is terrible. I rarely get a call to last more than 5 minutes.
